35 and have been playing off and on since I was a kid. Pretty steadily "on" during the past 12 years (which is apparently about as long as some of those on this forum have been around).

26, started playing around 10 or so.

Came to FL in 2002 after college to bang it around in some minitour events.. didnt have much success so I started working. Didnt play much from 04 to may of this year...

lots of things seemed to have changed since then and i hit the ball a lot different than i used to (much better)... may give some tour events a go next year, just need to get rid of a few loose shots per round.

Not playing for 3+ years was good but only 90 days into playing again there is much to be remembered! On the plus side ive already put one round under par up, and i played yesterday and hit 7 greens on the front and 8 on the back... putter needs work though, lag putting sucks!!

32, and feeling old a bit too after reading 14, 15, 14, 17 etc... Come you guys that are over 25, let's hear from ya.

Hehe, I was thinking the same thing. I just turned 42 in july. Been playing for somewhere over 20 years. You know how it is, the years go by so fast when you get up in the age.

regards, Frankie

Sheeesh! I have shoes older than most of you. Now almost seventy, I have been playing for 60 years. Hit my competitive peak at 15 playing in junior tournaments then found girls and cars about the same time. Hormones prevailed so golf was secondary for while but fortuneately I came to my senses. (after much experimenting with aforementioned)

I am 20 and I am a sophomore in College. It would appear that I'm from the most popular age group on the forum, as well! ;)

I've been golfing since a very young age, I wish I knew when exactly but I must have been about 7 or 8.

Late birthday?

I think 11/6/91 is his birthday... which, yes, would be late in the year.

    • Day 430 - 2025-12-04 Slow motion backswings (with chippy shots) with AlmostGolf balls.
    • Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.
    • Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.
    • Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
