I was going to ask if you're a Cincinnati Bengal fan, but considering you live the Belfry, football is all Premier League for you

re football over here, id rather watch american football, come on the saints! havnt seen it for a while so? tv over here suckssssssss!
loving the nike tiger avatar! cool.
its taken me may years to find out how to paint 3d things in this manner, loads of hours burning my knees out in the dingey garage in the cold, its a lot like the weather on the moon here in england ( not really) well, like when they faked the landings anyway! oh Nasa give it up allready we've all see the test footgage of BUZZ and the gang faking the earth out the window with all the light off and the plastic picture of the earth over the window portal!! let it go already! (sorry slightly sideway there)

also i made a big mistake when painting it so its get nitro'd then repainted and i will post when ive re done it! just wanted to know if you guys thought it was good or not, the next painting will make it look better and regarding ease of address to the ball, checking the face is square will be a lot eassier............................... on paper! lol HAGO alan

PLEASE let me know what you think..........

To be honest, it reminds me of a certain type of candy (can't remember what its called). Wouldn't surprise me if I found myself trying to lick it one day especially if I was particularly hungry. LOL

I kind of like the look. Could make me dizzy tho. and...don't know how it helps line up square. good project and if you combine it with shaftskinz you'll drive your playing partners bonkers. Let us know how it works.

How did you do the paint job? I have a 3 woods which looks very scruffy and i wouldnt mind painting it all black with my name signed on it in gold. Think it could look nice so if you could tell me how I could go about doing it, that would be great. As for your club it looks the part it wouldnt be my taste but I like what you have done!

just nitromorse the paint off then sand it a bit with wet and dry, so your primer has something to hold onto then paint it, if i were u i'd do it gold then mask your name with tape, then spray it black take off the tape and then clear coat it with something clear and hard, something like two pack remember not to spray the face. have a good one.

gonna have to try it out on some of the old clubs. should get a wee competition going to see who gets the best modded club lol.

You should actually do a step by step guide when your redoing it. What all sort of paints did you use and how much did this cost?

    • I'm not sure you're calculating the number of strokes you would need to give correctly. The way I figure it, a 6.9 index golfer playing from tees that are rated 70.8/126 would have a course handicap of 6. A 20-index golfer playing from tees that are rated 64/106 would have a course handicap of 11. Therefore, based on the example above, assuming this is the same golf course and these index & slope numbers are based on the different tees, you should only have to give 5 strokes (or one stroke on the five most difficult holes if match play) not 6. Regardless, I get your point...the average golfer has no understanding of how the system works and trying to explain it to people, who haven't bothered to read the documentation provided by either the USGA or the R&A, is hopeless. In any case, I think the WHS as it currently is, does the best job possible of leveling the playing field and I think most golfers (obviously, based on the back & forth on this thread, not all golfers) at least comprehend that.
    • Day 115 12-5 Skills work tonight. Mostly just trying to be more aware of the shaft and where it's at. Hit foam golf balls.
    • Day 25 (5 Dec 25) - total rain day, worked on tempo and distance control.
    • Yes it's true in a large sample like a tournament a bunch of 20 handicaps shouldn't get 13 strokes more than you. One of them will have a day and win. But two on one, the 7 handicap is going to cover those 13 strokes the vast majority of the time. 20 handicaps are shit players. With super high variance and a very asymmetrical distribution of scores. Yes they shoot 85 every once in a while. But they shoot 110 way more often. A 7 handicap's equivalent is shooting 74 every once in a while but... 86 way more often?
