OP, you're new here. I don't know what you're expecting. I speak based on observation that this is not "that kind of golf site" where we rate bags or post about outlandish 300 yard drives. Sure, some of us drive it 300, and we love our equipment. You just won't see "What's the longest 3 wood" or "Best Shaft" or Best Driver, "Cost of your Bag" or "Best Bag", etc. Oh, yes, sometimes, it will come up. But not often.

We have member reviews, equipment introductions, and such. But equipment is so swing dependent, it's what fits you, and getting fitted for your particular swing.

You will see many  instruction threads, and they are very useful to your game and scoring. Members will ask you to post your swing to assist you or to join Evolver to have an instructor review your swing with you. Enjoy and have fun.

Right. My reaction was "that's a big gap in woods" because it would be for me. But I don't know the loft of his driver, how far he hits it, or whether the extra loft of the 5W helps him get more distance and less spin. They sound like solid clubs, and I hope he enjoys them.
