Seems to me that Norman and his team lost that Presidents Cup....

But it reignited Scott's confidence and was the beginning of his march to number 1.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

Adam Scott needed a boost in confidence; Tiger Woods needs time to recover to full fitness after several years of rushing back to tournament play after injuries.

If Norman could pick Adam Scott a few years back for Presidents Cup when he was on the verge of quitting the game, Watson could certainly have picked Tiger this year.

Was Scott coming off back surgery?
