Is there anything wrong with a very steep down swing?

Hey guys over the last few years I have transitioned into hitting down and through the ball.  After some recent analysis of divots and what not I have determined I have a steeper than normal angle of attack.  I tend to take divots with my fairway woods (not very big maybe the size of golf ball).  I know Sergio has a steep angle of attack I was just wondering if there is anything wrong with this, and if it will affect my progression.  My trajectory is fine I don't have a lot of problems with spinning the ball but I just want to make sure that I am not forming a bad habit.  I apologize it is winter and I can't post any swing videos.

Depends if the steep angle of attack is due to a swing fault or not. Most higher handicap players who struggle with a slice tend to have very steep angles of attack with their clubs, especially their woods and driver.

I would say create a My Swing thread and post a video of your swing.
