Hi, I'm a long time reader and thought I'd finally take the plunge and post. Been playing for 4 years after giving up football and the gym due to back problems and I just love my golf!!! Into my second year of membership at a local club, joining originally as it was a quicker and better value option to reduce my handicap quickly rather than paying to play public courses and the driving range every week. Not played any competitions at my club so my handicap is based on a rolling 12 months of four ball comps with mates. Scoring ranges between 77 and 90 on most courses with mid 80's consistently. My long game is akin to a higher cap and my short game is the opposite the other way! (Rescuing my score most weeks!) Currently looking to find a consistent bad shot as I feel this will allow me to reduce my handicap to single digits. Frustrated with my ability to hit all shot shapes without prior knowledge or intention. Currently considering a full bag fitting to help ensure my swing flaws are mine and not symptomatic of flawed equipment purchases! Hope to add to some topics very soon. Thanks for having me!
