A friend of mine spends a couple of weeks in the West Palm area every year and he has a nice picture of him and his family with Nicklaus taken at a local ice cream shop. He sees him there every year with his grandkids. Told my friend that he is addicted to ice cream and the grandkids are his excuse.

It isn't funny and it isn't witty or clever.  It is more like that cartoon where one guy says, "The erection of that building took 3 years", and the other guy says "You said the word erection" - guffaw, guffaw, guffaw.

I'll make you a deal.  I'll lighten up if you grow up.

Oh, you are the arbiter of funny now? Face it, you just can't stand it that Tiger can still be open to scrutiny.

Grow up, indeed.

Oh, you are the arbiter of funny now?

It isn't funny, you've used it before, and it's also over five years old now.

Enough.

I don't understand this kind of stuff. Why would I buy an ice cream just because a 75-year-old guy's face is on it?

I don't know, one hot day I was looking for some lemonade and came across his Golden Bear lemonade. I bought it because the other lemonades didn't have Jack's face on them, lol. I liked it and still buy it. There ya go :D

I also bought Penn & Teller's ice cream because I like them and that's some of the most delicious ice cream I've ever had.

Seriously give it a try...

I'd also be willing to buy a John Daly cocktail.

    • Day 1 - First chipping and pitching. Focus on a better grip, the fundamentals and taking the club back on plane, not outside. Feels good. Then some full swings. Focus on improving the setup. Weight more forward, more bent over, and same grip stuff.
    • Congrats on the improvement. Cheers for lots of continued improvement in the future. IMO you've gotta get away from these spots… Those are partly "results" as the work will begin on things earlier in the swing. Good luck.
