Hello,

Robs swing is amazing and I really like it. I am trying to have this as my model swing to follow. I have not had much luck in finding good videos of instruction regarding his swing (Morad).

Does anyone know of any information that I can access online. I do not think we have a morad instructor in Alberta, Canada.

You are not likely to find much about MORAD other than through its creator Mac O'Grady. Mac has a couple of unauthorized version of his swing on youtube but you won't find much in the way of how the swing works unless someone has broken the code of silence, and even then it may not be up to date.

Here is one swing online:

Maybe a morad instructor does online workÉ

Not sure they do online lessons, but I've heard this golf school is pretty legit MORAD. It couldn't hurt to try contacting them:

But why just copy his swing? What is it about the swing you like? The simplicity? Centered head? Swing plane? Hip slide? You can get all that my doing evolvr and using the 5 simple keys as a template. Not saying you'll look just like Rock, but you'll develop your own swing that will have all the essential elements that Rock has.

@sk golf has worked with and learned from a couple MORAD guys. He doesn't teach a swing or a MORAD swing but he has a lot of knowledge with Mac info.

I don't think George Hunt does online lessons and he's the only guy that's an "authorized" MORAD instructor. You can try contacting Mac and traveling to see him, schools are $2,500.

@Millwrong12 , you don't want to "model" your swing off a tour player, you want to identify your priority piece and make that better. @sk golf will certainly be able to help you, he's one of the best instructors in the world.

Hmmm, that's one of the swings Mac sent me, I've sent it to a few people over the past few years. Don't know who James Parker is.

I have taken 3 online lessons from Dan Carraher and in every one he has used Robert Rock as a comparison. I have also loved every lesson. If you really want to "model" your swing after Rock then go to Dan's website and sent him a message and tell him what you want to do. I am sure he would be willing to help.

    • I think you're saying it's preposterous to think that the areas on this club are anything like what's shown here: 30mm toward the toe or heel loses only 5% distance? Highly, highly doubtful. So a guy who hits the ball there and normally hits the ball about 250… will hit it instead about 238. By missing the sweet spot by about 1.2 inches? Highly, highly doubtful. Heck, the high heel barely gets into the red, and orange is only "up to" 10%! @M2R, I've never heard of "Ask Golf Nut" but I'm dubious of his claims in the video and really, really dubious of what's on his site: "Why AskGolfNut Is the Most Trusted Data-Driven Golf Resource". Hmmmmmm.
    • Day 151 1-11 flow work today. I've been doing all pause work, so Inwanted to get some rhythm going. Recorded.
    • a) No b) This MLR says: I doubt the MLR is going to affect their weekly league games, in other words.
    • So the question was posed today by some of my friends.  Is a pitch mark the same as a divot?  I thought NO, but they argued if your ball lands in another player's divot (made by club during a swing) this was the same as a pitch mark, i.e. the ball mark made when the ball lands
    • Original definition use to or still is how far offline you hit it. It might be better to think of it as consistency in retaining favorable launch conditions to optimize distance.   That heat map showed a gigantic 0-3% loss in ball speed. That is absurd. The true 100% sweet spot is tiny for all clubs. Good luck telling the difference if the sweet spot is under 3% in a sizable area. Especially considering variation in launch angle, spin, and outdoor weather.
