Howdy from Texas!

Hey, guys!  I'm from the DFW area in Texas (north of Ft Worth for the locals) and just starting to learn to play golf.

I played a little after college, but never took any lessons, and haven't hit a ball in 5 years or so.  The wife and I want to start out fresh and learn together.  We've already had our first lesson and I've been out hitting range balls most mornings.

I'm always looking for tips, and I definitely need some new clubs.  I'm a certified gear ****, so I'll probably be asking most of my questions in the equipment forums.

Anyway, just wanted to say 'hi'
