I was hitting some three woods outside and this happened: I'm not trying to rub it in, but I must be doing something right... that's from 2 shots back to back... I struggled with fairway woods immensely last year... I'm working on trying to get a My Swing Thread started, but I need to be on Wi-Fi to upload to YouTube from my phone..... I was just Sharing my progress with everyone... COMMENTS welcome THANKS AS ALWAYS, Shane

Yeah, definitely don't rub the dirt into the face or else you'll get scratches, a damp towel is best. B-)

I'm saying I nutted it with a 3 wood twice actually it's hard to see the ball mark on the face... Struggled with fairway woods all of last year...

Here's a picture after cleaning it... Before I was afraid to take a divot with a wood, I guess that was my intent @joekelly hitting down on a wood really isn't the correct terminology, more or less just catching the ball at the bottom of the swing... and we aren't talking a dinner plate for a divot, but just a very shallow divot right in front of where the ball was... I haven't hit let alone one 3-wood flush like that let alone 2 back to back in many years...

Good job, fairway woods are my favorite clubs to just grip and rip it.

Tight lies are a bit more challenging, but nothing better than being on the first cut, ball sits up just like being on a tee.

Now for the challenge @onthehunt526

WILL YOU BE ABLE TO DO IT AGAIN?

If I keep the thought a small divot is OK... I should... be nice to do it when it counts from 240 on a par 5
