His clothes are the bees knees. I bought a bunch from the IJP outlet on eBay and all of it the best golf clothes I've ever seen, real high quality stuff.

Lol, I can't believe I didn't think of it earlier, but I'm wearing this sweater right now ...

Just don't call him underrated before the next Ryder Cup... or he'll pull a FOWLER

A lot of people are confusing "over-rated" with over exposed.

A valid point.

The trouble is, I suppose, that unlike Tiger Woods, who is over exposed because every single move and every single word is scrutinized by a media that simply can't seem to get enough of Tiger, even when he isn't doing anything remotely interesting, the source of Ian Poulter's over-exposure is solely limited to Ian Poulter, himself. If he just got on with his career quietly, he wouldn't draw much attention - the odd Ryder Cup performance aside.

I know he claims to have been misquoted with that quote from 2008: "I haven't played to my full potential and when that happens, it will be just me and Tiger," but either he has never played to his full potential (which is sad), or he's full of it (which is also rather sad). Either way, he's annoying. The "over-rated" issue probably arises because of how he presents himself, rather than anything else.

I was thinking the same thing. Better off letting him quietly cruise into retirement. But it is all by design, the media are bored and needed an excuse to talk about him again.
