Hello from East Coast of Canada, im from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia! Not many courses here to choose from we have about 15 courses on the island, about 5 to 8 of the courses only being 9 holes, with the most diffucult 9 hole course having one par 5 and the rest of the holes par 3's, your lucky if its a par 4. We do tho luckly have a beautiful, geourgous, amazing links golf course, the only "real" links golf course in canada right in my backyard:-D but this course is called cabot links here is a few shots of the course and rates its amazing, its truly my dream to play just one full 18 hole of golf their with my dad & brothers. Soon enough:)

Hello from the west coast. I've only been on TST for a month or two. I've seen maybe 4 or 5 other members from BC. I'm not sure if I've seen any members from the east coast.

Cheers

Welcome! I teach at a college business school, and five of our faculty were either born or got their PhD in Canada.

Also, in my master's Strategy class, we did a business case on Islington Golf Club in Toronto. At the case time, it was an old-line club that was struggling to please an increasingly diverse group of members, and find ways to increase membership. The situation is quite similar to that facing many mid-tier clubs in the USA.

The case originated from Ivey Publishing Co. out of Ivey Business School, Western University. The students in my class really enjoyed it.

From what I understand, Toronto is about 2,000 KM southwest of Cape Breton. ...
