hi guys, im just back playing after 6+ years out and god theres so many different balls around. i always liked the feel of a soft ball like the pro v1/v1x but i really liked the Callaway HX Tour ball but they have been replaced but im unsure what Callaway ball wopuld be the same.

if any of you could help that would be great.

The HX Tour was their harder ProV1x equivalent, so you're either looking at the SR2 or SR3 if you want something from that Speed Regime range, or the Chrome Soft if you want a tour ball that feels really soft.

Get used to it with Callaway. I stopped playing them after about the HX Tour. I got tired of them constantly changing their lineup.

One must adapt ...

If you want a ball that spins around the greens and offers urethane ProV1/V1x performance, the Chrome Soft.

If you want a urethane ball based on swing speed - the SR1 up to 90 for driver, SR2 - 90-105, SR3, 105+ (or something like that)

go to www.callawaygolf.com and look at product and balls.
