It's been a while since I've been here because my game started to go downhill. Well, the past few weeks have been much better for me. I've broke 100(98,98) twice in three days. I'm hitting my irons much better recently.

85 yesterday... 45 on the front and 40 on the back.. For the first ten holes I alternated whites (68/126) and blues (72/133).. then on 11 I caught fire when I stuck a bunker shot like 8 feet away from 150 out.

Played a not so quick 9 before work today. Shot a 34 on the back 9, par is 35. Good weather with little wind. Hit irons well and the short game really helped me out. 15 putts (still getting used to the scotty, first round with it was last night) 4 fairways. Closed out the round with 3 birdies in a row. The eagle would have been great tho.

PS This makes 5 consecutive rounds without going into a bunker... probably ~80 holes

Went to one of the local courses yesterday and shot a 113 (62-51). Still trying to figure this game out hehe. My drives and putting weren't too bad but I really need to work on my iron game.

Shot a 98 on a course I haven't played in over a year. It's my second time breaking 100. I've been flirting with it the last couple rounds.

My drives and irons were pretty solid; the short game just outright blows. I'm going to work on that with my coach next week and hopefully continue the rounds under 100.

I threw my clubs into the lake so it's time to start over...

Ughh a disgusting 46. I opened the round with a double bogey (6), bogey (5), bogey (4), par (4), birdie (4), par (4) then it went down hill....triple bogey (6), bogey (5), triple bogey (8). It could have been a decent round without finishing 2 of the last 3 with triple bogeys.

72 (72/127) 6 birdies, course i havent played in 4 years. very tight course where i obviously got in trouble since i was one over with 6 birdies...

74 (73/127) 4 birdies, still 2 over.

70 (73/127) 4 birdies, pretty text book round.

Playing tomorrow morning early with a few money games on the line. Should be fun.

A pretty bad 40 with a double that killed the round. Greens were aerated, so no help putting.

A 46 on 9 holes this morning. Not at all happy with my putting. I hit 3 GIR's and bogey'd all of them, two of which I hit within 20 feet of the pin. Driver felt good today (I think it knows it's getting replaced) and irons were mostly good. I can't hit a good full shot with PW at all though.

39. Only the second time I've ever broken 40 for nine holes. Six pars, three bogeys. Hit five of seven fairways and six greens, but only had one good look at birdie. My lag putting was pretty bad, but I was holing almost everything from 6-8 feet.

91 on the first 18 today. (68.8/126). Nothing great about the 18 except 13 putts on the front 9.

92 on the second 18 today (68.0/113) Driver was amazing! which is bright if it wasn't the last round of the summer.. As for everything else, it went bad. Had possibilities of GIR from like 80-120 and missed a couple times, 3 putted a couple of GIRS. Ended on a good streak of +1 on the last four holes.

On my home course, today, I shot an 84.

7 pars, 9 bogies, 2 double bogies.

11 fairways hit, 6 GIRs, 33 putts, 1 penalty ( in the water ).

I'm trying the demo of the Scorecard. Over the last three rounds, I've shot 86, 86 and now 84. I hope this is the begining of a trend.

So I'm living proof a low handicapper can shank a ball more than 10 times in a round. 100 yards and in today was aweful. These were not ordinary bad shots you might call a shank, they were all literally right off the hosel. I was shanking pitch shots, chip shots, bunker shots, you name it. I shot my worst round of the year by 10 strokes. Impressive 88 (73/127).

I was hitting the ball great today! Found some new tactics to help improve my approach, just kind of have the yips on approach. Ballstriking was great, Chipping was awful. Contact was great aswell today..

didn't keep score.

I played with a buddy on Sunday, so I played from the white tees for his sake. I shot a nice and easy 76. Regardless of the tees I choose at my home course, I'm going to shoot about the same. I probably only hit my driver two or three times, however, since we played the shorter tees. It was a good practice for my 3-wood.
