Hi all!
Just getting back into the swing after 3 years and two broken arms later. I just swung a club for the first time about four weeks ago and have been hitting the range at least 3+ times a week since, God I love this game! I broke my arms just when I was starting to play regularly (not well but better than I'am now ), so I'm basically starting from scratch. To be perfectly honest I think that it's better this way because I don't remember any bad habits I had lol.

A bit more about me is I work in IT, I'm a credentialed pistol instructor getting back into teaching again and I sit on staff for a local online AR15 shooting community. I enjoy shooting, hunting and RC Aircraft as well as golf. I'm marred with no kids and 2 pups. Looking to move out of Commierado and into the open spaces of MT within hopefully a year.

Glad to be here and look forward to the information, community and its passion!

Welcome!

But please reconsider bailing on Colorado - we need every patriotic conservative we can get in order to hold off the Californication ( or Boulderization ) of this great state.

Besides, along the Front Range and in the lower altitudes of the West Slope one can golf 12 months of the year. Not so in Big Sky Country.

I can appreciate the need for more conservatives in Komierado but after 30+ years (native born) here and after enduring the wave of worthless people moving in, hiking up rent, property values and flooding the Job market I'm simply done here. I grew up in wasteminster and now live in Saudi Aurora and work in Lakewood, I can't stand the worthless, self entitled, dirty and lazy people that have moved into the state, it's just not home anymore

The flood of people won't stop till a more desirable state legalizes weed and then the housing and job bubble that has present itself will pop. I'm sure that won't happen for about 5-10 years and frankly I'm not willing to wait. I'm done with the kind of people here  and more so I'm effectively priced out of living here any longer.

Besides winters in MT gives me a reason to buy a sim

BTW if you ever want to play a round at Stoney Creek just shoot me a pm!

    • However, have you ever considered using small summer houses for such setups? They offer a great solution for creating dedicated practice areas, especially for an affluent audience looking to enhance their outdoor living space.
    • I've played Bali Hai, Bear's Best and Painted Desert. I enjoyed Bali Hai the most--course was in great shape, friendly staff and got paired in a great group. Bear's Best greens were very fast, didn't hold the ball well (I normally have enough spin to stop the ball after 1-2 hops).  The sand was different on many holes. Some were even dark sand (recreation of holes from Hawaii). Unfortunately I was single and paired with a local "member" who only played the front 9.  We were stuck behind a slow 4-some who wouldn't let me through even when the local left. Painted Desert was decent, just a bit far from the Strip where we were staying.
