i would put a 3 wood in the bag just to feel in the yardge gap between ur driver and longest iron also i would get a hybrid to because they will also help get extra distance.

Irons 5-pw sliver scot
Sand Wedge 54 deep red
Lob Wedge 60 cg11 2 dot

Wow finally back from holiday. Ok, the nickent irons are great extremly smooth and fly straight and true, i have yet to play a round with them since its winter but they work hella great at the range.

Since it was boxing week i went putter looking and have finally bought an odyssey 2-ball srt white hot XG putter which works great.

I would look at adding a 3 wood or a 4 wood if you have trouble hitting 3 woods. Then if you go with a 3 wood I would look at adding a 5 wood. If you go for a 4 wood I would add another wedge. That should get you to your 14 clubs.

driver - TM r7 425 10.5* Purple Ice Stiff
3 wood - TM r7 TP 15* reg. flex fij. vista pro
7 wood - Cally Big Bertha 21* proforce stiff
4 hybrid - TM Mid 22* reg. ultralight fij.5 hybrid - Nickent 3dx Ironwood 26* fij. banzia stiff irons - Ping eye 2+ 4, 6-pw kt-m stiff wedges - Ping tour 54*...

distance of 4 wood might be very close to those nickent utilities that come with your iron set. make sure you try it out before you buy

what is the degree of your PW? If you go with the 4 wood I would look at adding 2 more wedges to get you to 14 clubs. A Gap and a lob wedge. Depending on your loft of your PW will depend on the loft of your wedges. Its good to have the same numbers of loft between each club

driver - TM r7 425 10.5* Purple Ice Stiff
3 wood - TM r7 TP 15* reg. flex fij. vista pro
7 wood - Cally Big Bertha 21* proforce stiff
4 hybrid - TM Mid 22* reg. ultralight fij.5 hybrid - Nickent 3dx Ironwood 26* fij. banzia stiff irons - Ping eye 2+ 4, 6-pw kt-m stiff wedges - Ping tour 54*...

Yeah... I would add one or two more wedges and at least a 3-wood, maybe another hybrid or 5-wood. I know for me... I hit my driver 260 average, 3-wood 235, 2 hybrid 220, 3 hybrid 210... so if I went from Driver to 3 hybrid I would have a 50yd distance gap. I like being able to hit my 2 hybrid on tight holes or little doglegs where my driver would run through... trying to take some off a driver is tough, and sometimes 50yds less won't get you to a corner of dogleg, so that much of a distance gap is dangerous. Just my 2-cents.

The 2-ball was a good choice... very popular putter and alignment friendly.

couldn't agree more. i started out with a 3 ball for alignment sake. it was a knockoff putter. i've sinced moved to the odyssey white hot xg #5. I absolutely love the feel of the ball coming off of the club face of every xg i've hit. i just happen to like the #5 the best. i hope you have as much fun with your putter as i have with mine. I'm getting where I actually enjoy the 15 ft. and longer putts. I'm getting where i either hole them or have them within a foot for a tap in.

the feel of a putter is the most important thing. and the xg is great. good luck. stay warm and shave some strokes.

fitting ur clubs is always a good idea. i just bought new ones and i am planning on keeping them for a while so i dont want them to disagree with my game. Just make sure u have hit the clubs and are sure of what u are buying before u do anything
As for your putting problem.. ive had a bit of trouble putting in the past and ive worked on my stroke in front of the mirror. Practice different stances and grips and find one that feels comfortable, and work on putting a steady stroke with that keeping ur left elbow close to your body (right elboiw for a leftie)

Wow thanks for all the lep guys! To answer ur quesitons i have 56 degree wedge, 50 degree wedge and my PW is 44 degrees so 6 degree gap between those 3. Good enough???

In terms of putting for the longer putters with my 2- ball im knocing them close enough for an easy second putt, which has been my goal to always 2 putt and 1 putt if possible.

Any one know what nickent 4dx 3 wood is like?

I have no idea, but as you know the hybrids are very nice.

How is the driver if you don't mind my asking, and what else did you hit when you chose it?

    • Day 20: Did 30 minutes after getting home from work, before kid's baseball practice. This session was piecing out the new hip move in transition, doing 2-3 rehearsals from the top, and then hitting a ball from between P5/P6. Did another 45 minutes after baseball practice and dinner. Did 30 more minutes of what I did earlier, and then about 15 minutes of full swings trying to incorporate athletically.
    • Day 296: did a stack session.
    • Day 126: 5/1/24 Putting and chipping practice. Slow motion swings with 8-iron.
    • #4 - 1st hole at Kingsbarns I rolled in a 15 footer for birdie. Showed my caddie an old guy could still play a bit. #3 - 18th hole at Basin Harbor Club, Vergennes, VT. I had played matches against my nephew over the years. He had never beaten me although through the years he had become a long hitting teenage golfer. I was 1 up but bunkered near the 18th green. My nephew had a long putt for birdie. I splashed out of the bunker to 4 feet. He rolled his first putt close and I gave him the par. Sadly for him, I rolled mine in and won our last match. He went off to college and then Europe for a Ph. D. It was our last match. Family champion forever. #2 - First playoff hole in the City of Livonia, MI “65 & Over” division. I rolled in an 8 footer that broke about 4-5 inches. #10 Whispering Willows GC. #1  18th hole at TPC Prestancia, Sarasota, FL. A 4 foot slicing putt for par to beat the prior year’s Member/Guest winners and win the Member/Guest with my father at his club. I was having heart palpitations as I played the final hole solo when my father put two in the water. There was never a better golf sight for me when that ball dove into the hole.
    • Finally, wedges getting somewhere. This one a punch gap from 87 yards to about 12 feet. Contact and ball flight absolute restaurant quality. It's nice when grass comes back.
