I have a question about basic ball position with the different clubs when doing the full swing. For example, I usually keep the ball in the center of my stance for all clubs except hybrids, drivers and long irons (which I deem as being my 5-iron, since I have only hybrids now to replace the 3 and 4-iron). For the hybrid and 5-iron, I place the ball slightly forward of center (or very close to the center) of my stance. And as for the driver, I place the ball at the left toe position, teed higher and with a closed stance to eliminate the fade issue (after reading LSW a couple times through). What do other do here?  Is there a right or wrong... or is it all a personal thing?

Of course, chips, pitches and partial swings will vary with distance and loft, I am sure. Just wondering about the full swing with the various clubs. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Wedges just forward of center.

3W off the left heel or instep.

Every other club fits between those two in a progressive manner.
