I'm in the market for new irons Thinking of going to carbon. I swing on the limit of x stiff some say I swing too hard for graphite. I'm getting arthitis in my hands and think carbon will help my hands. Any thoughts?? Anyone go that route with my swing speeds?? Thanks

If you've got arthritis but also have a high swing speed, I'd say you have two options:

1) Stick with steel shafts, but use Winn grips and a clubhead design with a soft insert.

2) Switch to the stiffest graphite shafts you can find. Because there's no industry standard for stiffness, you really have to test out everything you can find.

In my bag:

Driver: Titleist TSi3 | 15º 3-Wood: Ping G410 | 17º 2-Hybrid: Ping G410 | 19º 3-Iron: TaylorMade GAPR Lo |4-PW Irons: Nike VR Pro Combo | 54º SW, 60º LW: Titleist Vokey SM8 | Putter: Odyssey Toulon Las Vegas H7
