Shocked and sad to learn this today. I knew he was battling health issues, but you just don't expect a God to die. Truly a legend. 

RIP Lemmy.

Lemmy Kilmister. He was the frontman for Hawkwind and Motörhead. 

A real old-school legend. Honest and unpretentious. By all accounts, a truly great guy. 

His music wasn't for everyone, but they didn't make 'em anymore "real" than Lemmy.
