How far would you travel by car for 1 round of golf only?

When I lived in the Mojave Desert, every round was a minimum of a 70-minute drive.  I drove 2-1/2 hours a few times to play in TST events or other events in the greater LA area/inland empire/Coachella.

Longest I drove just to play by myself was just under 2 hours to Primm Valley outside of Vegas.  2 hour drive there, 36 holes in 7 hours (including warm-up and lunch), and 2 hour drive back.

I live 45 minutes from the course I play quite often as a single.  No need to drive any farther. Back when I first started playing (1976), we had a nice day on a Saturday in February in Jamestown

My brother turns 50 this year, and that is reason enough for me to get in another round at Arcadia, it is always worth the 3+ hour drive. The "worst" drive I've probably taken was to make a 8:30a
