Would anyone be interested in Custom Headcovers?  I always wanted to get a Yorkshire Terrier Headcover for my driver.  It's out there but limited options.  Imagine using a 3D printer or some type of tech + some artistic talent and coming up with some really cool options.  If you would purchase something like this what would it be?  (I do not have the capacity to create such an awesome product on my own and am more or less seeing what everyone thinks about this idea....hmmm. let me know.)

Well, there are already some sites where you can order custom headcovers. The ones I've seen are usually knitted old school style. I would definitely be interested so I guess it would depend on what material and what options were available. But I like personalized headcovers for sure.

Custom embroidery would be an option. Your initials, a logo or image could be used for a set.

Premium Head Covers are available. Caddy Daddy offers the Inferno, Lucky and High Roller Casino based Themed Driver Head Covers. Features include 40,000 stitch embroidery on synthetic leather fabric with inside padding and polyester ribbed sock.

Some of these headcovers are expensive: $50?  I would only pay $25 max (and if this was exactly what I wanted).  It may not be possible to create the custom head covers I alluded to earlier without having a heavy price tag attached.  I looked at 3D printers, materials, other options, etc, and arrived at the same conclusion: what is available online is not ideal, but preferable to the amount of money and time needed to invest in creating some really cool ones yourself.  If anyone has anymore sites that sells cool headcovers, don't be afraid to post!  Thanks guys!!

    • It’s possible the graphite shaft has a small internal crack or a delamination. Tapping it and hearing a vibrating sound is usually a sign the shaft isn’t behaving as it should. Since the store wasn’t helpful, consider taking it to a club fitter or a pro shop that can check the shaft flex and integrity. If it’s defective, you might be able to get a replacement from the manufacturer.
    • It’s interesting how much a 3D system changes your understanding. Observing top players in full detail and realizing the trail knee shouldn’t fully extend is a great example of why being open to new info is so important. I like your approach: not trying to be “right,” but trying to teach correctly based on actual evidence. Makes sense why golfers would benefit from this perspective.
    • I would say both are equally not the best for golf. Is it better than nothing, sure.  Golf is an athletic motion. Professional golfers are doing a comprehensive workout routine focusing on strength, power, flexibility, stability. They might include some yoga into the routine. I would put both of them in the recovery bin, not golf enhancement bin.  If you want to increase swing speed, core strength, longevity in golf and life, then lift heavy weights.
