Also in the field fellow South African and rookie Bertine Strauss, she is very good. Best lady to come out of SA in a long long time. Looking forward to following her progress this year.

She missed a short putt for birdie on 11.    She still has a good shot to post 59.

@Lihu? Learn something new every day I guess. "59 Watch" means… they're well under par with a few holes to play. If you birdie your first hole you can say "59 watch" or "54 watch" in a sarcastic, joking manner.

5 HMs was standard after confession. I was usually 10 Our Fathers and 5 Hail Marys after you confessed that you "told a white lie to Mom and fought with your brothers." BTW, I hated confession!

Bad news:  she followed up her first nine (second nine of the course) of 27 with a 35 for a 62.  And then a second round 75.  Hard to follow a good round sometimes.
