Sorry it took so long to respond. I never got notified that I was quoted.

Oakland Hill is in Michigan. It's the site of this year's US Amateur.

Oakland Hills #15. There is a small pot bunker right in front of the green that the caddies call "The Devil's A$$hole". Excuse the language, but that's what they call it.

The Devil's Asshole (the famous one that most people know) is actually on the 10th hole of Pine Valley in New Jersey:

That is a much bigger *******. The one at Oakland Hills is very small. If you're in it, you will likely be standing outside with a funky stance to hit your ball, or you will have to play your shot away from the green to get out safely.

Ah, OK.  I couldn't find any pictures or info of it...I guess it's more of a local (caddy) thing, as you said.

Yeah. I think it's just what the caddies call it. Here is the overhead from Google Maps.

Wow...and it's in front of another bunker.  Another Donald Ross middle finger to the high handicapper...  ;-)

He gives the middle finger to low handicappers too. The pro's call this course The Monster. The greens are pretty treacherous. Kinda what you expect from a major venue though. I remember watching the Ryder Cup Matches there in '04. Lot's of fun.
