Choosing Irons

Getting back in the game after almost 25 years. Through some trading I've picked up 2 sets if irons. Trying to get recommendations. If anyone has used the nike vrs pro cavity and the nike vrs cast. It's a wash out here today, so can't go to the range to compare the 2.

I hit the Nike VR_S Forged version at a 2012 demo day, and really liked them. I'm not familiar, however, with the other two.

I was able to find you some video clips: Mark Crossfield on the VR_S cast, and DirectGolfTV on the VR Pro Cavity.

I've seen both of those videos. Thanks for sharing. It's hard to find quality review videos on the pro cavity irons.

If you're just coming back into the game, choose the more forgiving irons. There's no shame in making the game easier for yourself. I strike the ball pretty pure 90% of the time, but I still play irons with some forgiveness for those shots I don't catch so well.

If you want maximum forgiveness the VR-S cast are the better choice.  I like the VR Pro Cavity better but it's really a matter of which one do you hit best.
