Hello, everyone. I'm not affliated with Arcis Player's Club, but I do enjoy the benefits. Heck, the free practice range alone has been worth $30 a month. We have three courses in Vegas, but the downside is the card is only good at the place you sign up. If they extended it to discounts at all three, it would be worth a few bucks more a month, that's for sure.

Anybody else have an Arcis card?

I have no idea what that is and unless someone else is in it, they probably won't know what it is you're talking about either.

What is an Arcis Card? Just a local discount players' card or something?

I'm not, nor in any way affiliated with any golf organization. I'm a blackjack dealer. I wish I were associated with a golf organization, but that's not germane.

arcis. com

They are a golf course owner/manager company. They have an interesting loyalty program.

It appears the Arcis Card program is limited to a few cities, Las Vegas being one of them.  I am not a member as there are no participating facilities in MI.  Even if there were, I am not sure it fits my situation.

Not a member of Arcis, but recently joined an American Golf Players Club in Orange County, Ca.

Probably a similar type of program... Free bucket everyday, chipping tube $2, 9 holes on short exec course and a drink for $5.  Monthly cost is $30.  I retired 2 weeks ago and for me it us well worth it.

    • Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.
    • That depends what you do within those two.  Are they your only options?   Check out Fit for Golf if you get a moment.  It's linked on the sidebar;  I did it for two years, stopped for a really bad reason, and I plan to get back to it soon.   Mike Carroll also has a great free podcast about a lot of topics in golf fitness.
    • Day 19, 1/19.  Finished work in time to spend 25 minutes hitting balls (hit 15) indoors, off a mat, into the net.  Usual focus.
    • Day 30 - 2026-01-19 Got 10 minutes in on the mat / net working on exagerrating movements I'm working on. And grip. Also worked with my friendly AI to summarize key negative tendencies I have so that I can build a personal checklist to follow. Will do more mirror work tonight.
