I've done that with my iPhone and iPad - you can FaceTime call yourself and see your down-the-line view.

It's a good idea in terms of convenience, but at 20fps, I can't justify the $200. Figure out a way to accommodate higher speed video without making it cost-prohibitive, and I'm in.

What I thought was unique was the ability to take a freeze frame of set up, draw in squares and plane and other alignment lines and see how well you stay within these lines in real time. I understand that the software to draw lines is quite common, but I assumed that was "after the fact".  Of course, I have had only limited experience in this type of filming. The actual web site for the product does not really tell you much of anything and is a very poor representation of what it can be used for. The video I posted, I thought was much better and easier understood. Probably not something I would purchase, but for those who use a lot of video, I thought it something worth considering.
