Heading down to Key West in June for some adult entertainment and hope to play some golf. It looks like we are going to play the Key West CC but I don't see much else in the area. Anyone ever play Key West CC? It looks like we are going to have head all the way back to Key Largo to play anything else. If anyone knows anything about these course or has any other recommendations, it would be appreciated!

My bag:

Taylor Made R7 (x-stiff).
Taylor Made Burner 2 irons (stiff)
Cleveland Wedges (gap and 60)
Odyssey two ball putter (white)

There's also a course in Marathon, but I don't know anything about it.

Slim pickings in the Keys for golf courses. The only one near KW is the one you've mentioned - Key West CC on Stock Island. I've played it a few times. It's a Rees Jones design, tight & kinda tricked up. But in great shape. Pretty costly to play though - upwards of $100 depending on time of year.

The one in Marathon, Sombrero, is basic golf. Played it once, like 25 years ago. Maybe they've improved it, but back then it was just..."golf." There's also a par-3 course in Key Colony Beach/Marathon.

In Key Largo there's a resort & I'm pretty sure the course is private - Ocean Reef Club. For the harried Miami executives to get out of town. They got helipads & such.

But that's about it for Keys golf.
