I never like any of their clubs.

That cavity back driver, and woods, were a piece of crap. And their irons weren't much better. They looked too much like K-Mart brand.

.

I love their clothes,tho.

In my bag Driver: Cleveland CG tour black Fairway Woods: Diablo Octane 3 wood; Diablo 5 wood Irons: Mizuno MP53 5-9 Hybrid: Cobra 3, 4 T-Rail Wedge: 46* Cleveland, 50* Cleveland, 54* Titleist, 60* Titleist Putter: Odyssey protype #6 Ball: Maxfli U4/U6... But I'm not really picky about the ball I use.

Phil Knight has been quoted saying that Nike's golf division lost money for 20 years.  I can't fathom this.  Someone obviously wasn't doing their job.  Yes, the golf equipment business is a tough gig, but come on...if that's true, someone was asleep at the wheel.

Unless you have jaw-dropping game changing way of doing things, I think jumping into the game against big-time manufacturers is always a tough proposition.

Even with all their money, and marketing know-how, Nike couldn't beat the likes of Titleist, Taylormade and Callaway.

Its why I don't think you'll see UA ever show interest in making clubs, no matter how successful their golden ticket is (Spieth)
