I hope all out Texas and Louisiana members are safe. They're predicting several days of heavy rains.

A very nice sentiment. Golf today began with some rain. Harvey is already affecting weather in NORTH Texas! It is huge. I imagine the coastal homes at Rockport, Galveston and Crystal Beach are no more. -Marv

I've been through this and feel for those who have lost their homes.

I have family in Houston, they are ok AFAIK. Was watching some news coverage this morning, the flooding is pretty bad out there and it's supposed to rain for days.

Reading about this is so heartbreaking, especially since it's going to keep raining for days. I hope all of our members in the area stay safe.

I have family in Houston.   They are safe but still worried.

Same here, my family is safe and their house above the water, but they are very heartbroken by many of their not so fortunate friends.

We should probably prepare for more things like this? Seems like it will become worse in the coming years likely due to our irreversible climate change.
