I am spending quite a bit more time practicing at home either indoors or in the garden (not huge). I practice my putting indoors by rolling a stripey ball to a distance then putting to it and also chipping with said stripey foam balls.

Are there any worthwhile practice aids out there that dont cost and arm and a leg or do any of you have ideas for using things around the house that you use? 

Are there any "must have" practice equipment?

Find a metal "yard" stick", meter stick probably for you.   The one I have has a hole on one end and it is great for starting your putts online.   It is inexpensive and easy to carry.

When I working quite a bit on swing plane, my instructor suggested I buy two yoga blocks.   The visual was good to help me see the path.
