"5 Minutes Daily" Practice Challenge

Day 96: did some mirror work this evening while watching TV. Working on hands down in the downswing. Also want my hands a little bit steeper in the backswing.

Day 282 - Maybe a little too much practice today, as the elbow is pretty sore this evening. 
A lot of swings focused on the backswing. Filmed a few, and still not getting the practice swings to translate.

Day 22 - 2024-10-22

Thumb actually felt a bit better today than even yesterday (I ended up hitting about 42 balls yesterday again). Today I hit about 36 or so, none over about 115 yards.

Day 173 (22 Oct 24) - Today was our church men’s group last event of the season.  As it’s super ball format, it was an easy round of fun.  Put the 845s Silver Scots in play along with the old Spalding Johnny Palmer 1 & 3 woods.  Those little heads sure do increase your level of focus.  Love the challenge the old clubs bring.

Day 97: Putted for a while on my mat. Working on address, hands higher. Then just a good stroke. Feels pretty good.

Day 283 - Some putting while watching basketball. Elbow needed a break.

Day 174 (23 Oct 24) - Wedge Weds - worked the wedges focused on green side shots - short up and downs, low runners, ball positions, stance positions.

Mirror work. Flu and COVID shots yesterday afternoon so wasn't feeling great.

Day 98: did some mirror work while watching TV. Working on the same downswing and backswing stuff.

Day 284 - Good session today. Trip has gotten too weak, causing a lot of my issues (and possibly my elbow pain). Correctly that has. Lot of things in my swing looking better, so I need to keep at it.

Day 1 again: 10/23/24

Putting through 50 mm gates. Start line was good from 17”, but distance control was inconsistent.

Day 175 (24 Oct 24) - Got in some time with the 6i into the net.  Continued work with pre-shot routine, alignment, kept swings to 3/4 length.

Slow motion backswings working on keeping my trail arm bent at 90* or less. Finished with putting through 50 mm gates.

Lotta work here today (including 1 Gbps upload speed!), so mirror work again. Lotta time for it, too, as lots of updates were run…

Day 285 - More grip work, as well as making sure the club is more closed at the top of the backswing.

Day 176 (25 Oct 24) - Weekly men’s scramble.  Was on the winning team this week.  Had some great wedge shots (hole our birdie on #4 from about 28yds, another close to birdie hole out on #7 - a year later and still getting great wedge play from the Indi wedges).  Overall game was up and down on the back nine - went 10 over, front nine (which we played last) / consistent play for me at 4 over.  Really enjoying the golf this time of year.

Day 25 - 2024-10-25

I used a Pure Ball Striker under the base of my left thumb today and it may have helped. It also may not have as it was not really the "reason" for any pain.

Getting tight on time, but still would rather be cautious than to do something more permanent or alter the motion to accommodate a temporary thing.
