Day 38 - 2026-01-27

Another solid range session, feeling good about changes I've been working on (grip, weight shift to trail side, backswing). Playing 18 tomorrow morning.

I've blogged about my wanderings since 2003. I love roaming throughout the USA looking for remote public golf courses to play.

Day 63: long day, so just some time for mirror work. Worked on downswing, hands down and then turn.

Day 27, 1/27.  I worked from home for half the day, and during that half, I found my way twice into the practice room for 10 balls each time (off a mat, into a net, 6-iron, indoors).

Day 26: 2026.01.28

Another busy day so only managed a few slow swings working on backswing rotation/arm elevation drill.

Day 10 (28 Jan 26) -  Course deserted, so it was a free reign play kind of day.  Opted to play two balls tee to cup (lost balls, penalties, duffed shots - all included) all 18 holes - tracking the average of the two scores alternating between the white (member) and gold (senior) tees.  For example on the par 4 #1 I had a bogie and par for a 4.5 stroke “average”.  Now I know there is no true 1/2 stroke in golf, but to score the average gave insight into playing consistent - even seeing some wild up and downs when out of position.  On the plus side shot an 82 using the “best” scores, 85.5 with the “average” scores and 88 with the “worst” scores.

Day 168 1-28

2 practices today. I really like this process/what im currently working on. First practice backswing work using mirror. Second practice was arm reconnect and wrist arch. I think im missing something with the wrist arch. Recorded the 2nd session face on.

Day 485 - 2026-01-28

Some partial swings. They were a bit careless. Sloppy. I'm kind of annoyed at myself.
