Day 261 5-11

arms off chest in backswing and downswing. Made sure wrist was arching.

Day 587 - 2026-05-11

Got 15.5 holes in. Hit some good shots. Stop it, and then throw it in the right direction.

Day 62 (11 May 26) - grandson put in for some wedge drills, up and over targets (namely the tulip tree) - grabbed a couple of foam balls and we worked on same (me on Gw and he with his Sw).  Good session on aim small/miss small.  Love these times working with him - watching his game develop.

Day 262 5-12

Got an early practice session in this morning. Arms off body was the main focus with getting chest through with speed, I did much better with wrist arching through the downswing.

Day 63 (12 May 26) - Nine hole session today with my friend Mike  - worked on approach distances to have good opportunities to set up for up and downs around the greens.  It made for a good time to discipline myself to not get greedy but rather steady.

Played eight holes. Hit it pretty well. Have a slightly new rehearsal.

Day 44: just time for some mirror work today. Focused on cleaning up posture and grip.

Day 8, May 12.   I hit 15 balls after work today;  this was after a Skillest lesson.  I also worked on my grip during the day per the lesson (using a pipe), then focused on grip and setup, plus lifting my arms in the backswing, in a drill from the Skillest lesson.  That's going to be my priority piece for a while.

Day 64 (13 May 26) - last practice of golf team for the school golf team….got to hit a few balls while working with the kids.

Day 263 6-13

Setup alignment stick station for hands off body drill. Worked on wrist arch as well. Working on not hitting the stick 😀

Day 9, May 13.  After work, I went to my practice room for a dozen balls (two sessions of a half dozen each).  I may do more later, but I wanted to make sure I posted here too.  Same priority as yesterday, with the arms lifting.

Day 589 - 2026-05-13

Got ten or twelve minutes of work in before lessons and after the chiropractor. Neck not quite as awesome as the last time, but still good.

Day 45: another long day, so just time for some mirror. Making sure my posture and grip are better. And then experimenting with some feels to avoid weight shift issues.

Day 65 (14 May 26) -Back to more backyard work with grandson and working on “shot windows” (read thru swing uprights /over tulip tree / between house and tree, etc) - a good session on shot visualization and seeing it properly executed….

Day 254 5-14

backswing work in with mirror. Wanted to switch it up a little today. Main focus on not hinging so early and slight cup in wrist

Day 10, May 14.  Today was an interesting day;  I decided to focus on my grip with the pipe, not a club, as my focus.  Throughout some hours of writing (for work), I regularly took a break and practiced my grip.

Day 46: did the yardstick putting drill for about 20 minutes. Start line is pretty solid. Need to make sure the handle is upright and then feel like straight back and through.

Day 11, May 15.  Half an hour (about two dozen balls) before work this morning;  indoors, off a mat, into the net.  Focused on the grip when setting up and then on the lifting of the arms and limiting the backswing.
