Day 15:

Full swing work with a 6-iron. The recentering / transition feel is working well. Ball starting is a slight push and bleeding a bit right, but very playable (at least based on what I am seeing on Mevo+).

day 44 - slow deliberate swings into the net with a focus on weight shift and hand path. I might sneak out to the garage a few times through the day working on this but my hands are steering to blister lol

Day 122: 4/27/24

Supposed to be a Stack training day but I was beat after yard work today. Practiced chipping and putting at The Creek. The practice green is pretty slow but the session went well.

Day 135 (27 Apr 24) - played Bradford Creek today while waiting for the missus fly in from her extended visit with the grands.  Good day to stay focused as it was a hurry up (groups pressing from behind) and wait (groups taking their time ahead)…a good day to stay mentally in the game - play the shot and not get frustrated in the waiting…

Day 114 - Pretty busy day, but managed to squeeze in some mirror work. Focused on softer knees throughout the swing, with high hands in the backswing.

Day 16:

Same thing as yesterday but did it with driver and Almost Golf balls and no launch monitor info. Contact center-ish, a bit high on face and toward toe, I’d like start line to be less right.

Played 18. Had a hard time getting into an athletic mindset over the ball, and made a lot of uncommitted swings.

    • Listening to episode 71 on golf equipment and I have to admit I never fully got the importance of grinds and bounce and sole shape generally. Why would it matter if you’re hitting ball first?
    • Had a couple lessons. Trying to work more on having sway away from the target to start the backswing and achieving more hip depth and some other details as well.
    • When I first upgraded my three HackMotion 3.0 devices to 4.0 devices, I was told to discard the 3.0 devices. 😛 I asked them why I couldn't sell them (or give them away) to another person rather than contributing to electronics waste, and was told they were working on a program to do just that. The program is now finally here, so… I have three HackMotion 3.0 devices for sale. Straight from HackMotion: The Core license is $275 (with a 3.0 unit) if purchased from HackMotion (the extra $125 gets you the hardware): Golf Swing Analyzer & Wrist Angle Training Aid | HackMotion Fix common golf swing faults, improve ball flight and master clubface control with the help of the HackMotion wrist sensor. If you'd like more info, send me a DM.
