Day 218: did some putting work, using a mirror to work on keeping my head steady.

Day 33 (23 Feb 25) - Weather was nice (around 60deg) this afternoon - got in a speed round of 18 (the pro shop said I needed to be in by 5 (teed off right at 3  - thankfully course not busy and I was boringly straight for the most part). Played from the member tees to allow focus on the longer game especially approach shots.  Decent all around round - with an 86.  Lost at least 5 strokes on the green, I.e. had a number of putts 5’ or less that I missed for par….did pretty good time wise - walked off 18th green at 5pm.

Day 219: more mirror work. Worked on feels for the earlier wrist hinge.

Day 146 - 2025-02-23

Travel day. Got to Golf Evolution early enough to get ten minutes of distance wedges in. I'm caught between hitting them as I am now, and doing them with the slightly different backswing I use. I palmar flex them when I do them now.

Practiced prior to round and hit a few balls afterward.

Weight shift drills tonight followed by putting through 50 mm gates from 11”.

Got some work done in the hotel room. Not a lot, but five minutes at least.

Day 34 (25 Feb 25) - Long day that included outpatient surgery for youngest son (2-1/2 hr trip each way) - rolled some putts to detox for a few moments….worked on pace.

Day 148 - 2025-02-25

Wanted to get to the range today but the others wanted to get back to the hotel, so… I did mirror work in the reflection of the patio glass. 🙂

Day 221: worked on putting stroke for a while. Using the mirror to experiment with ways to keep my head more still. Definitely seeing improvements.

Day 1: 2/26/2025:
So, I'm starting over on this again. 
My son brought home the mother of all flu bugs from school. It raged though our house and knocked me on my butt for about 3 days. 
Now, that I think I'm clear of the death plague my son gave me. I was able to rise early this morning and get some nice mirror work in. I felt stiff like a board for the first few swings, but loosened up and was able to get at least 20 minutes of first robotic slow swings and then gradually more fluid swings. 

My focus was on the timing and fluidity of my priority pieces.

Day 35 (26 Feb 25) - Day of easy work (hanging around the house as son had shoulder surgery and I needed to help keep an eye on him).  Worked on low spinner 50deg wedges - keeping the ball low flighted and checking quick.  Went with the 8i after to do low flighted runners.  Great visit on two ways to get the same/similar results.  May be able to get away tomorrow for a short 9hole round (as long as the son's recovery cooperates).....
