Day 15 (September 19) -- Today was mostly a travel day, but when I got home, I did a bit of practice:  a medicine ball drill, this time with an actual medicine ball!    I also hit a few chip shots (real balls, off a mat, into a net) with my 56 degree, as I'm considering changing out my bag configuration.

Day 37 9-20

Played a small executive course this morning. Driver was probably 15-20 yards longer than past. Didn't play great but my good shots were way  better. Shanks and chunks started creeping in last 3 holes. Not enough experience to figure out whats going wrong mid round. Practiced chipping and putting after.

Day 19 (20 Sep 25) - Day 6 of 7 courses/7 days…played an Arnold Palmer designed course - was a different challenge dealing with varied terrain/blind shots/testy greens.  Was a full use of the bag day with lots of course management into what club played better for the scenario of the moment.

Got some work in at home after a long day of lessons. One guy came from Maine, another from North Carolina (kinda).

Day 21: Played the par 3 course with the family. +4 with two doubles - need to clean up the short game. Every GIR was a simple, boring tap-in. Every non GIR was an adventure...

Day 16 (September 20).  At home, in my practice room, did a medicine ball drill (with a medicine ball) and also spent 10 minutes hitting some very slow swings with 6-iron, focusing on setup, grip, and making a slow swing (I'm still not convinced I'm swinging "slow enough" when I should be slow practicing, a decade plus after knowing I should do this)

Day 1: 9/20/25

Chipping practice. Hit a few heavy when I stalled body rotation but generally pretty good. Made 3 in a 40 minute session using 3 balls to each hole. Spent more than half the time trying to make it in the toughest hole from a variety of places with no luck.

Flow drill. Worked some on making sure hips go back with turn and not out of sync with body, also trying to get correct rotation in downswing.

Day 356 - 2025-09-21

Got some practice in during a lesson with the short game, and then spent ten minutes before heading home on the full swing. Gonna go downtown, do some online lessons (https://skillest.com/@iacas) and practice a bit tomorrow, too.

Day 17 (September 21).  I spent 20 minutes in my practice room this afternoon;  I did the medicine ball drill, then swung two clubs drill, then hit 3-4 (taking my time) balls with a 6-iron, and a repeat (not a repeat of med ball).  Real balls, off a net, into a mat, feels good to be home.

Day 20 (21 Sep 25) - Day 7 of 7 courses/7 days at Crow Creek.  Decent day with a low 80’s round.  Nice way to wrap up the trip.  Despite the left foot in pain all day, was able to navigate.  Best shot of the day - front side bunker off the tee on 16 (par 3) - straight up and down to a short front pin - straight up and down with a less than 3’ for par - and - 2nd best on 18, missed green right, short 30yd pitch for birdie-low spinner with the 54 to pin high less than 3’ again.  The week ended well - solid scoring (in a weird consistency) - day 1 low 80’s, day 2 low 90’s, day 3 - repeat day 1, day 4 - repeat day 2, day 5 - repeat day 1, day 6 - repeat day 2 and day 7 - repeat day 1….

Day 357 - 2025-09-22

Thumb was not 100% and I don't want to push it, so I limited practice to about 30 golf balls today. Mostly pretty fast (too fast, really), and I got a recording. Work continues.

    • Day 430 - 2025-12-04 Slow motion backswings (with chippy shots) with AlmostGolf balls.
    • Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.
    • Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.
    • Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
