Recently I’ve been pulling my drives. I went to get fitted for a driver and through the data I was consistently having an in to out swing path, but my clubface at impact was always between 2-5 degrees closed. Went to the range and tried opening face at address, but with same results. Any suggestions?

Also, I’ve always hit high shots. Both with driver and irons. I know that I’m losing distance because of it. I was told I have a steep angle of attack. How do I flatten out my swing?

Welcome to TheSandTrap! I highly recommend creating a swing thread in the "Member Swing" where you can add some video and get some advice regarding your specific swing.

Quick tip regarding steep AoA, try placing something like a tee halfway in the ground a few inches in front of your ball, then try to avoid that when you hit the ball. You will have to hit up to avoid that second tee or object out in front of the ball. I've also watched videos where people put something like a plastic water bottle laying on its side about 4 inches in front of their ball/tee too.

Do you routinely hit pull draws or hooks?

Swing up more. Typically swinging outward shallows the swing path. I wonder if you are shifting your weight forward a ton on the downswing.

I would create a My Swing thread here, https://thesandtrap.com/forums/forum/13-member-swings/

Here is good information on how to video your swing, https://thesandtrap.com/b/playing_tips/filming_your_swing

It’s either straight right or right with a slight draw.

Sorry, straight left or left with a slight draw. Like I said I have a -1*to-3* swing path, but up to a 5* clubface at contact. I think my hips might be releasing to early. How do you practicing slowing that down?

Do you know your hips are releasing early, or are you guessing?

Honestly, I doubt that is the issue.

I still recommend video taping your swing and creating a My Swing thread. The best advice you would get is a shot in the dark.
