I started golfing last year. I shoot a little over 100 for a full round.  Over the winter, I got rid of my cheap set and I was able to purchase a random assortment of new but older model clubs.

I have womens irons/hybrids and a few wedges, and a men's driver, fairway wood, and sand wedge. I don't have any concerns about my putter

Is it okay to go back and forth between men's clubs and women's clubs throughout a round?

Nothing wrong with it.  Women's clubs generally have more flex to them but if you know how far you hit each club generally and where they go, you'll be alright to play with any combination you want.

Woods: Ping G15 10.5* Draw Driver;   Ping G Series 14.5* 3 Wood;  Callaway 2019 Apex 19* 3 Hybrid

I suppose. Id worry about the length and lies of the ladies irons maybe ingraining some bad set up habits, but generally i wouldn't think its a problem.

Thanks for the input. I can definitely feel the weight difference with the two wedges

They were out of a clearance bin, so didn't spend much at all on them. Would you recommend changing the shaft? Womens shafts may not fit well but maybe a senior flex shaft?  Or should I just buy new ones down the road.

I think the shaft issue could be valid. Check the clubs that work the best for you in the set, then check the shafts in them. If they are light shafts, go with it. I play a mixed bag as well, but they are all regular shafts.

My thought is that you may have a good learner set that will be replaced after you play and get better. So, I don't think I would go to the expense of re-shafting. Best, -Marv
