Hey lads, said id say hi, only started golfing a year ago aged 35 and how i wish i had started years ago, I am hooked to say the least. I love it, I am far from good yet, only about an 18 handicap standard, best round so far is a measly 86, but i am learning and improving all the time i think.

Howdy, welcome to TST.  Getting to 18 handicap is pretty good -- 86 isn't a bad score either :-)  

Stick around, see if we can help lower both those though.

I started at 35 myself. That was about six years ago now and it sounds like you are off to a faster start than I did.

Have fun with it. Keep those expectations realistic.
