I've been kind of looking at clubs. I just started golfing this year for first time in 14 or 15 years. I wasnt good then either lol. Was just wondering what is a relatively good and not too expensive set of irons for a beginner. Thanks for any advice!

I think you’d do better to go with a used set of a quality brand. Ping, Titleist, Taylormade, Callaway...I mean there are plenty of options. There are other philosophies but I’m just not a fan of those brand new full set with bag for $200 deals. You could even get a fitting which will cost you some change, then search Ebay and maybe even find your specs in a quality used set. If you’re left handed I can hook you up.😃

Lol I actually am left handed. I have been looking alot on globalgolf.com. just bought a used driver. And I agree on not wanting to buy the cheap complete set of clubs.

I agree with @Vinsk

If you have a Golf Galaxy or similar store near you, check out their used clubs or try some new ones to get an idea of what you like. Then search for a used set. Lefty is a bit more of a challenge, but you will find stuff out there.
