Hi folks ..Live in Surrey in UK, newbie just starting at 63 yrs young . Got all the gear and no idea at the moment . Off to my local driving range for a few lessons on Sunday...Wish me luck !

exactly. just take some time to get back into it. it took me a couple months to find a swing again after not playing for 6 years

That's the beauty part about web pages like this. You come back to it on your own time, so it is never too late.

Be patient and keep your expectations realistic. Starting golf isn't easy.
