I like the speed rounds/recap features. Might subscribe for a month just to see what those are like. $10/month, $65/year if you go through Amazon. Subscribing via Amazon Prime Video is so easy if you have an Amazon device. It's cheaper if you subscribe directly through NBC via its $50 early bird special, but not sure if its apps are any good or if they have any for the streaming devices at all.

There is a lot of potential for golf as a streaming medium. The standard 4-5 hours four days a week isn't very viewer-friendly. Speed rounds sounds like a good idea. I can easily avoid spoilers and watch a recap the next day or something.

On certain tournaments I can watch a lot of the coverage, but I might have watched more if they offered different viewing options.

I did it last year for more Tiger coverage, but I'm gonna pass this year, even though I often enjoyed watching those telecasts more than the regular telecasts. The announcers talked less, the commercial breaks didn't exist, etc.

What is the subscription service offering that Golf Channel is not? I can’t imagine it’s that much more.

Quite a bit. Hundreds of hours of bonus coverage. Featured groups. Etc.
