Golf in Greece

If you ever happen to be in Greece, particularly on the island of Crete, take some time and visit The Crete Golf Club, 20 minutes east from the Heraklion Airport.  It was constructed in 2006

and is situated on a mountain side, with 18 holes, two-sided driving range, beautiful club house/pro shop and a 25 room luxury hotel. As a member whose has been playing for 50+ years I have never seen such beautiful greens

and scenery. Just bring your golf shoes since you can rent everything else.  Special daily/weekly golf packages including clubs and buggy can be arranged with the friendly staff with seldom a wait for a tee time.

For a truly memorable golf day give it a try while the rest of the family is sightseeing.
