Looking at new irons for next year and narrowed it down to either the Mizuno 919 forged or the Wilson Staff V6. Not hit either yet but love the look of them both.

Has anyone tried these or able to confirm if the Wilson quality is a lot less than Mizuno? I always thought Wilson were a budget make for supermarkets etc.

Love them both but I got burned by Callaway and had several clubs break after a misfit. Are Wilson any less quality than Mizuno as I'm worried the same will happen.

As @Osnola stated, only you will be able to make that determination after hitting each.   During my fitting, I hit both and didn't like either.   You're preference will be completely different.

Pádraig Harrington plays Wilson Staff. I have never hit them myself but I also have not heard of anything bad about them. As compared to Mizuno, don't know. It is really up to you as stated above.

      This isn't going to show you lateral dispersion at all. It's basically just a radar (for speed) launch monitor. It doesn't measure spin or anything like that. Not even launch direction.

      PGA Tour Makes Sweeping Changes Starting in 2028

      Interesting changes. The idea of relegation and promotion have always been there in a different form (getting and losing your card etc and qualifying for bigger events) but it looks like they want to define it better for top tier events. The Tour has always had A and B level events (and even lower). It will be interesting what they choose as the Challenger Series events and whether some tournaments go to the Challenger Series that used to be prestigious. Not sure how the networks will take to this knowing they have “Challenger” Series events defined that way now. Also, I’m not happy that John Henry and Theo Epstein are involved. Look what Henry has done to the Red Sox.
