Had a break today and was coming by course. Only had my 5 iron which I have been practicing with during my lunch hours. Walked 9 holes and shot 49 even putting with it. Might practice some chips in backyard and go back tomorrow to see if it improves.

It's a fun way to play. Really forces you to think a bit about how to take distance off. On a shot that requires some height you might play a big cut versus a low draw.

I usually play a round with a 7 or 6 iron. I think I usually shoot in the low to mid 80's.

Last night i watch on youtube an interview with bubba watson from 2015 talking about this. He said he shot 71(-1) only with his driver. He said also that he did it with every club in his bag and with every new club in order to test it. Finally he said that acording to the course length his goto clubs where 6 or 7 iron.
