@C J Outlaw, what are your hips doing during the backswing? looking at the "iron swing side" video in particular. seems like room for improvement there.

Thanks for your comment, to be honest I've no idea on where to go from here in regards to the hips, could elaborate more?

Try and get some slow motion swings videoed. For the down the line, have the camera line up on you toe line and have the camera at hand height. For face on, have the camera at hand height.

That being said, you don’t turn your hips at all in the backswing. The thread below discusses a centered hip turn and it’s importance.

it looks like your hips don't turn on the backswing. i have a hunch it's because you don't want to look away from the ball. does this sound close? are you right- or left-eye dominant? if you're right-eye dominant like i am perhaps you could try hitting balls with a closed right eye. if this is relevant for you, does it make sense why this might help?

if you're left eye dominant and have no issues seeing the ball through the backswing then perhaps this might help: take an iron and stick the butt of the shaft into your belly button. get a regular-feeling grip down the shaft. turn your shoulders away from the target until the head of the club points away from the target, parallel to your target line. your hips should be in a pretty good position at this point. try this and then take a regular swing afterward.
