I also agree that it's bad sportsmanship. I don'T care about HDCP but the people working there are probably looking everywhere for your card thinking they might have lost it. They probably wasted ½ hour going through the pile of cards thinking that they miss it. Come man, you play, post your score and be it. Tournament are usually harder, pin placement, rough, green are faster, etc...

The Red X2 has a straight, no-offset shaft that is positioned just back of center. It also has a really nice sound. It is a face balance putter. I have been playing it for 3 years and just love it...

We go every year in May (long week-end) to Boyne Mountain (Michigan). It is a 8 hour drive but really worth it. Usually 7 rounds in 4 days but this year we played 9 rounds in 5 days... It is golf, golf and more golf... a bit of poker at night.

One thing you guys didn't mention (especially for high hdcp) is the line to aim. Players should find a line (aim) where there is the least trouble that could happen. If you fade aim right if the trouble is on the left... etc... I see too many players aim at the pin, flag is in the front I will use less club... No use a club to get you in the middle of the green, if you mishit a bit you will be in the front of the green, more room for error. If flag is in the front your error should be deep and if flag is deep error should be short. It is surprising how many strokes you cut by thinking the game. If you play with a better player ask him what shot to hit to try to learn the strategy of golf. If you miss a shot play for bogey, nothing wrong with that. Cut the doudle bogeys and hdcp goes down fast.

Ask how much a round cost and that might give you an idea. Also, it depends how nice he is. Some of the caddies are awesome and they also caddie for weaker player on a regular basis. He might also give you some tips if you are opened to this. Good luck and enjoy the round.

5 wood or hybrid? Which are you using?
Chambokl replied to JYB's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I use 2 hybrid. A 2 (16°) and a 4 (23°). I use them from the rough, off the tee and sometime in fairway bunker. Driver is a 9.5° and 3 wood is 13°.... I really like this set-up and not many holes... Good luck with your decision. PS: I have the Taylor Made Dual TP hybrid... awesome. -
Four years ago I had the same problem. I went to graphite shaft (in my irons) and never had any problems after. The pain is usually in the left elbow (right handed). It comes from the vibration of the club when you hit the ground. It follows up the shaft and into the top hand on the club (left arm). I play 80+ round per year and the graphite shaft did the trick... Good luck...

I usually buy Pro V1 (mint but used and preferably no logo). I also buy some new one (Pro V1) when I find them on sale... Like somebody said, I spend so much money on equipment, membership and green fees, balls are just part of it....

I wear prescription sunglasses all the time. I just see the ball better (where it lands...lol) and it protects my eyes. Even when it is cloudy I still wear them...

I had the same problem and graphite shaft fix everything. The other problem is that it is early in the year and will get worse as the course will be dryer and harder... try to correct this as fast as possible before the summer and heat...

Cart Bag suggestions...
Chambokl replied to mich3210's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
I've own 3 cart bag. The one I use now is the Sun Mountain C130 and if I change I will buy another one. Not to big but still lots of room, 14 individual slot, nice cooler pocket and I like the way the cart strap passes through the front of the bag to hold it tight. For me, the best bag on the market! -
Raptors... but I also love Nash.

It is not how you mark your ball, it is how you mark your Titleist... Go to: www.titleist.com and under Mark your Titleist and you will see all kind of way to mark your Titleist...lol. Have fun... On the green, no special way to mark my ball. Will use dime or ball marker or...

If you talk to good amateur players they would probably say that putting is the biggest difference. These guys are just awesome and the greens are lightning fast.

Where is the Taylor Made logo or Scotty Cameron (not Titleist)...

How many golf clubs have you broken?
Chambokl replied to xuale's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
None... I take care of my stuff too much...lol. Threw a few clubs when I was about 12 years old... 35+ years ago... -
Hey congrats... you should bring a lot of energy to your team. Now the hard part... you will have to work on your game. I am sure it will be hard to stay on the team if they are that good year after year... enjoy.

Purchasing Used Golf Balls
Chambokl replied to dave39's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
I bought from both and was always satisfied. If you phone Golf Ball Planet, they will give you a better deal... Good luck -
I bought a centre shaft putter 2 years ago and never putted so well. Don't know if it is because of the centre shaft or the putter itself (SC Red X2) or a combination of both. I like the way it is set up.
