  1. Thanks to everyone for all your input, I can't believe this happened but after the first week of therapy that felt really good I took a pretty bad fall in the yard that may have cracked or at the very least bruised my ribs, the shoulder is feeling a lot better and I plan on starting therapy again soon though.
  2. I'm now dealing with a partial tear and tendonitis in my left shoulder according to MRI's results. Doctor gave me cortisone in my shoulder and seems to have given some relief, I start PT tomorrow does anyone have any advice?
  3. For some out there , I would say the pencil was their best club.
  4. I'm going to have an MRI done tomorrow on my left shoulder I just hope if there is a tear it's a minor one that wont take me out for long. I know I haven't posted for a while but I was loading a tool box in the back of my truck and I think I may have injured or tore my rotator cuff.
  5. I didn't mind seeing someone accidentally dragging a spike on the green as long as they tamped it back down. The problem was the people who did rarely fixed them.
  6. I can remember roughly 65 couses but wouldn't be surprised if the number was closer to 75 or maybe 80. 8 states: CA OR WA ID NV AZ NM TX 3 Countries USA CAN PHIL
  7. 5 iron right now. never had a 7wood or 9wood. hybrids 2H 17* 4H 23*
  8. I think courses should at least have info available on the cart that explains how to use one, way too often you'll see a group in front of you just not think when having the cart actually slows pace of play.
  9. It's really funny how we come across people who just have to try and impress others they know or even complete strangers who couldn't care less what their abilities are or aren't. The golf course is probably one of the very best places to shine light on a bs'er than anywhere else.
  10. Google Image Result for https://assetcloud01.roccommerce.net/w458-h458-cpad//_reinders/10/1/4/27200.jpg I used to use one these on the course I marshaled
  11. Wow this is going way back and I want to just make my best guess, 10 years old approximately and on a short 9 hole course that hasn't existed for at least 30 years now. I think I shot somewhere just over 100 at that time but it's just such a long time ago it's not something I put in the memory bank for later access.
  12. Because of playing very little golf over the past 3 years I honestly hope to change things this year and devote more time on this game I love. I think I'm closer to a 7 when I get my ghin updated.
  13. I agree completely, he knew he couldn't compete with that low of an index but continued to post bogus rounds so he could try and convince the audience he had that he was progressing in order to ask for donations. The whole project was basically a defacto "Go fund me" page so a single guy can go play golf for as long as possible on others lack of knowing what was really happening.
  14. Yeah I kinda noticed that also.
  15. He should have taken you up on your offer but like most people didn't want to be told what he had done wrong up to that point. To his credit he managed to get his index to around 5 but in the scope of what he wanted to accomplish he had miles and miles to go before he could make some sort of other successful conclusion. He never was going to succeed within the 10,000 hour mark he didn't know how to practice correctly was a major problem.
  16. It's called having ice water in your veins, but also it just proves he does the best preparation for an event than anyone else and because he knows this it creates a real confidence and calm before that final Sunday round.
  17. Another way to obtain merchandise cheaply would be to go to any golf retail shows on the last day near the end you may be able to purchase some inventory at large discounts if you were to buy bulk. Most of it may be a year or 2 old but if it's still in packaging it's not second hand.
  18. Dan McLaughlin thought he only needed to practice for 10,000 hours and voila you can play alongside the guys on Sunday.
  19. I got my original vaccination in april pfizer and had no reactions whatsoever, got my booster day before Thanksgiving and was fine for about 5 days and then all of sudden one evening had chills and fever for most of that evening and was fine next morning, just wondering if a reaction could take a few days after injection.
  20. Yeah I was afraid of that, well Yocha Dehi may work but it's probably about an hour north from napa.
  21. Napa GC at Kennedy park may be an option, l haven't played there in years and conditions may be or not be an issue considering how much rain has fallen, if I remember well enough the course has a couple holes that don't drain well but they may have fixed it already. As far as course challenge this course was used for qualifying for the Kaiser open back in the 60's and 70's if memory serves me right. I think it's right around 6800 yards so back then this was considered a good test.
  22. Really? Well my neighbor had it last june and thats what they told him but it also could be because he took some cocktail of medication that Trump took and it helped clear it up pretty quickly.
  23. It looks like maple.
  24. So he caught it shortly after being vaccinated? As far as I know you have to wait 3 months to get vaccinated if you just recovered from it.
