There is going to be a highly anticipated match USA vs IRAN it’s like the USA vs RUS in hockey but without the significant world standing in the sport.

I haven’t seen a thread related to one of the worlds greatest spectacles of all time. Yes, I am talking about football. If there is a thread please feel free to merge for me and I apologize to the soccer fans. So, there are 2 questions: Who is in the Finals and who takes home the world cup? Who would you like to see win although they most likely won’t? Argentina seems to be the favorite and I’m going to go with the crowd on that. However I would like to see Croatia win it.

Next event is in KSA Im interested to see if anyone actually shows up to watch. They usually will make it free and through in incentive for people to come out.. The expats will probably flock to it. It’s in a totally different city from where I live so I won’t be going, but if it was close I probably would go watch since I have never seen pros play.

I never got to comment on this thread. Basically in KSA vaccines were pronounced as mandatory for everyone. An application was made and if you didn’t show a green vaccinated page you weren’t let in to shops, yours place of work, schools or airports. My wife and I took both initial shots and then they made the booster mandatory. I took Astrazeneca, Pfizer and Moderna vaccines and I ended up catching Covid twice. Systems put me on my ass for almost a week each time, but never needed hospitalization or anything like that. Both times my whole family caught it but they didn’t show any symptoms. All restrictions since then have been lifted, there are no mandates, no one uses the application and by all standards things have gone back to normal now. I haven’t been to the States since then, but look forward to next summer. I hope everyone made it through all right and took care through out.

I personally have already paid off my student loans so do feel like everyone is getting a pass while I get nothing in return. I have brothers that this will help out so that’s a consolation prize I suppose. I haven’t had time to read up on everything yet, but not sure if it will change my overall mind that this doesn’t sound fair to the rest of us or those that didn’t go to college.

I am sure there are a few that have lost their clubs on the course by forgetting it on the greens, or some other way on the course.. But have you ever lost it out side the course? I have an interesting story to tell. I moved to another city in Saudi Arabia and left my clubs with my friend since he lived in the city where the golf course are available.. The plan was that when ever I was in that city I would be able to play golf with him without the hassle of always taking them with me on the plane ect. A few months ago I had a trip to the city and we played golf and it so happens that I would be moving back to the city. Unfortunately my friend has finished his contract and he was leaving KSA for good. He asks me as I am leaving if I want to take golf clubs with me and I say no it’s ok, I will be moving here and it will be before you move out so I will take them then. (First Chance) A few weeks later as I am on another trip to the city it turns out he is traveling for a week or so, and he says that he is keeping my clubs with the caretaker at his condo complex and he gives me the number and says if I want my clubs I can swing by and take them from the caretaker. I tell him that it will be a hassle and that I will take it from him in a few weeks when he comes back from his trip. (Second Chance) Finally, after a few more weeks I finally move to the new city and my friend comes back from his trip and we are talking on the phone and I invite him to dinner and ask him to bring my clubs my clubs with him and he drops the news on me. Your clubs are on their way to Ethiopia.. Apparently, the live in maid was told she could take the things in the house and even though the caretaker had the clubs someone went to him and told him to give to them since my friend said they could take everything.. The caretaker tried to convince them, but since they couldn’t reach my friend he gave up and gave them the clubs… they packed it up with the other things and put it on a truck heading to their home in Ethiopia… I’m not sure they have golf courses their, or even know what they are, but off and away they went. My friend tells me that he talked to them and they will ship them, but as of the last time I spoke with him they keep saying that it hasn’t arrived yet. My gut tells me that I will never see the clubs again and I have already started thinking what a great excuse to get all new clubs from scratch without feeling bad. My wife is already understanding and supports my new clubs idea. I guess I end up with that and a good story for getting them.. But it’s still all my fault. Anyone else have an interesting story?

Let’s look at below comment: That’s just not true. I was skeptical at first but reality is that if anything there is a huge reform program going on and I see it on the ground. Women can drive and do drive Cafe shops, malls and all other stores have no segregation of genders. Music concerts, plays, golf tours, F1 racing, WWE events and others are common things that everyone attends without segregation of genders It is common to see woman wearing what ever they want… not shorts or skirts but my wife and I go out and she wears what she is comfortable in.. Not a burkha. I would share pictures of my wife out and prove him wrong but she would not like that lol Anyway, my point is that for any regular person who heard what he had to say there probably isn’t any reason for them to go explore if what he is saying is actually true, but to me if he is so wrong about “most” of what he said then how can I take anything ever says at full value? LOL Two things.. It was news everywhere, so I actually came back to see what everyones thoughts were on it.. interesting stuff. Also, I just so happen to be coming back to playing golf so figured might as well join in with an insight from the middle of it all.

It’s been a long time since I posted here. I was basically relocated to another part of the country and unfortunately no golf course. The good news? They have decided to relocate me again back and this means that I will most likely try to pickup where I left off. My golf game is most likely trash (will play a round in a couple days to start building a baseline again), but I am hopeful. What I am hoping is that I have forgot everything, the good, bad and the ugly.. I can just do a restart and re-learn golf all over. Not sure what thoughts to have while playing, but I’m thinking nothing… just swing and see what happens. What I do know is that I know where to go for the best instruction when I’m ready.

What’s interesting is that there is currently 0 coverage of the LIV tour in KSA… like nothing, as if it doesn’t exist. When they have the tournament here in Jeddah I’m sure it will be a side note that there is a tournament, but no, there isn’t advertising of the millions being paid out..

Hey everyone, I have been so busy the past year I haven't had time to play golf or log on, but I am on vacation now and finally spending time at my new house and I am facing an issue that I am sure someone here can help me with. some pictures first I have 6 zones each with its own thermostat, and only one of them is connected to the Furnace and Air conditioner. The issue I am having is that the batteries run out quickly and since I'm not here most of the time I can tell be continuously changing batteries. The idea of connecting each to the Furnace or AC is out of the question, so I was looking it up and the idea of having an external transformer for each of them seems like a great idea! problem is I don't know what I'm doing. Is this even an option that would work? If I found the transformer where would I connect the two wires on the thermostat? what is the best transformer? where do I go get it? should I just get them and have an electrician do it? Thanks guys!

ummm. who cares what they do as long as they don't ruin the round right? They want to go? well, they can coordinate between themselves. :) Nope, but you could always do a dinner at a nice place and a movie at night? This I guess would end the buddies trip thingy and become a couples trip. Could be fun though as long as you got to enjoy the golf without any worry! It all sounds fun by the way, I'm happy for you!
