  1. As long as McBush and Bible Spice don't win, we'll be alright.
  2. I'm sure that looks go far into who they select, but look at Lori from BB. I would call her far from "fetching".
  3. Ian Poulter has great style.
  4. It depends. How well can you hit a 3 or 4 iron? I can't hit them very well that's why I love having my hybrids.
  5. Where in Columbus are you from? I live in Grove City and work in Hilliard.
  6. They were talking about on ESPN today how Sam Bradford's (Oklahoma QB) parents would drop him off in the morning and pick him up at night and they would play 110 holes of golf.
  7. You'll never catch me in red, ever. I hate OSU so much that I even hate the colors. Go Blue.
  8. Everyone needs to get off their high horse. Nothing he said was making fun of the kid or the US. He's just saying it's different in his country. I agree with him. I think having your name on the side would be goofy and I would never accept a bag with my name plastered on it. I think you'd have to have a very big ego, and that's something I don't care for.
  9. If it's a dogleg then it's not actually 342 to the green. It's 342 from the tee box to the center of the fairway at the dogleg to the center of the green. I assume you know this, but just so you don't think you hit the ball 342 yards. lol Great shot nonetheless. It'd be hard to tell actually how far it is from the teebox to the green without actually seeing the hole.
  10. If you are hitting the ball 260-300, which is very hard to believe and I doubt it. A senior flex is a bad shaft for you. You should be hitting with a stiff flex, at least with the kind of carry you are talking about.
  11. I always tee my ball so half of it is over the top of my driver face. I've always been told this is about the right height.
  12. Like everyone else, it depends on who I'm with. I'd say I'd average about 2 a round, sometimes I don't drink any, and I think the most I've drank during one round was 10. I usually drink more during scramble events like I have one this Sunday and I'm sure I'll be drinking a few.
  13. I got the driver b/c I wanted something that would help me keep the ball straighter and it hits very nicely for me. The Slazenger stuff was a whole set I bought at the beginning of this year when I started playing. I plan to get some game improvement irons next year. The Yes! putter I just bought yesterday and I just loved the way the ball comes of it. It was between that and a Scotty Circa '62 and the Yes! is half the price. The Cleveland was a gift from my brother and it works great, I just need to get a gap wedge now.
  14. It's all preference. I don't like using my 60* for chipping, b/c it usually leaves it short b/c it gets too much loft on it and doesn't roll up . I've been looking at getting a 56* and 52* soon to add to my bag.
  15. I just bought my Callie earlier today. I think it's going to be the best golf investment I've made so far. I believe it has better feel and rolls better than every putter I tried even all the newer Scotty's. It's a close neck to neck with the Circa '62 that I tried and it's got a price tag of half of the Scotty. I don't think you could go wrong with it. I can't wait until this Sunday so I can get to try it on the course for the first time.
  16. If it were rattling I'm sure Callaway would have sent you a new driver or at least a head. I've heard their customer service was outstanding.
  17. Usually when we hit a decent shot you'll hear a "You'll be aiiight." When you hit a bad shot "You might be aiiight." When someone tops a drive "That's a peach right there" "Pitch and a putt"
  18. I think this is along the same lines that I run into every weekend. I'm a football official for high-school and pee-wee football. In the younger stages we don't call every penalty b/c there would be a flag on every single play. You have to let them have fun with the game first and then slowly progress them into the rules and their consequences. We will sometimes tell the coaches, like "Hey little #45 is lined up in the neutral zone, gotta watch that", or even sometimes as an official we will just let the kid know, hey you have to be behind the ball when it's snapped.

    Spitting

He probably was chewing. I have a lot of friends that I play with that chew and they spit alot while playing, but never on the green. They usually have the common sense to at least spit in the rough.
  20. I'm sure it's doable, but it's different for everyone. It could take someone a year to get to 5 and then some people will never get to a 5. It depends on how dedicated you. I started playing March of this year and have gotten considerably better as the year has progressed.
  21. I know it's not the one for the 2008 model b/c when I bought my 5900 try gave me a 5000 headcover and I wasn't really paying attention until I got home and went back to get the correct head cover.
  22. My average swing speed is about 90 MPH with 205 yards of carry and 230-240 with roll. It was kind of funny though when I used the lauch monitor for the first time I accidently topped a ball and it said my swing speed was 190 MPH. The pro was like, whoa, I've never seen that before.
  23. Very nice summary Harry. It's people like you that I enjoy coming to forums.
  24. Snowboarding Drinking beer Snowboarding while drinking beer Heated tee's or head to the dome to keep my swing working Working 7-6 Monday - Thursday
  25. You get what you pay for, especially on the internet. I can't believe you're going to get a real Nike driver for $70 unless you're just buying the head. I guess that's why I bought mine at a local golf shop.
